Training Requirements?
New Hampshire citizens must complete an official state course for nursing.
The Board of Nursing website holds the updated list of approved programs.
However, there are a few exceptions in terms of who can take the final test without attending the course.
People who completed relevant and similar programs in other states might take the test in New Hampshire.
All you have to do is convince the Board that the program you passed is equivalent to any of the training in New Hampshire.
Also, the program is relevant is you have completed it in no longer than five years ago.
Final Test
Aspiring nurses in New Hampshire can choose to pass the exam by – Excel Testing, the American Red Cross of Massachusetts, or Pearson VUE.
The test is standard and has two parts – skills check and theoretical check.
During the skills demonstration part, you will have to perform different nursing assistant activities under time constraints.
The knowledge test is available in written or oral form.

Candidates who fail can retake the test a few times.
If you pass the deadline or fail to pass, you will have to take the official, state-approved course again.
Application
Candidates who signed for the official program can rely on their mentors to take all application procedure steps.
Other candidates, out-of-state candidates, or any who is applying on his own can check the Board of Nursing website for more information about the application.
You will have to submit some documents upon application.
Those can include instructor signature, copies of expired or out-of-state license including CNA, nursing school diploma, etc.
You can verify your licensure online and pay the application fee of $35.
The fee for criminal records check is $49.75.
